Quiet Quitting

How we communicate what it is that we need and how it impacts the business.

Quiet Quitting

Both employers and employees are feeling the lasting effects of the pandemic and the time that it allowed for self-reflection.

An increased awareness of one’s mental and physical health is a positive thing. Communication, however, is key. Have you asked for a raise or more flexible work-from-home conditions and your request was not answered?

What feelings are you harbouring? How are you communicating with your line manager? What is the impact on your pride and esteem? What is the impact on the business?

Rather than disengage, we will look at and try to understand the feelings underneath certain behaviours like resentment, fragility or anxiety and see if it can feed another solution.

Are you as a manager aware of a bored, angry or discontent employee? What are you doing about it?

As organisations are shifting from their ‘firefighting’ mode of the pandemic to a place of stability and growth, managers are given the opportunity to think about what workplace environments they want to create, the feelings they want people to have and responsibilities they want to share out.

Please join us for an engaging, interactive, highly relevant and fun 60 minutes.

We’ll look at:

  • What is Quiet Quitting and why is it getting attention at the moment?
  • How we communicate what it is that we need and how it impacts the business.
  • Implications for the workplace, bosses and colleagues.
