Team Facilitation

A Taste of Team Facilitation

Gain insight into some basic elements that make effective teams.

WHEN:

Wednesday 15 December 2021

2:00 – 3:00 PM BST

If your organisation is anything like Impact Factory, where our team bears little resemblance to the one we had before the pandemic, you may be facing the some big challenges.  In our case, we had to make some people redundant, some of the team moved away from London, people had babies, remote or hybrid working is the norm, and inevitably, misunderstanding is also the norm.  The spirit and ethos of the company remains intact but we sure look mighty different from the way we looked nearly two years ago.

Any company that has undergone what can feel like cataclysmic change has to take extra care to ensure their new team works and communicates as a team.

Here’s what’s going on with teams right now:  there are fractured teams, exhausted teams that need revitalising, new teams being created because of restructuring, depleted teams because of redundancy, teams brought back together after months apart, teams champing at the bit, teams that are uneasy and uncertain, excited teams, unfocused teams, creative teams. The list is endless because each team and each situation is unique.

Our Taste of Team Facilitation Taster will give you an insight into some basic elements that make effective teams:  good communication, creative collaboration, willingness to work out difficulties, mutual respect and trust.

Whether you have a team of five or five hundred, whether done remotely fully face-to-face or hybrid, the basic tenets are the same and are the foundations needed to re-energise, revitalise and refocus your team so it is thoroughly prepared and ready to face the future.

“We recently hired Impact Factory to develop staff in (global) remote team management and meetings and found they delivered high impact and constructive sessions over Zoom with invaluable opportunity to practice and implement new techniques. We look forward to working with them again in the future.”  Orla Aherne – Change and Development Manager – Tourism Ireland

We’ll look at:

  • Facilitate team communication
  • Iron out the glitches and unblock the log-jams
