Excellent wifi. A good whole home mesh network. This will ensure other members of the household don’t hog the bandwidth.

An up-to-date, big-screen laptop. Think a minimum of 17 inches.
A good webcam setup. This is essential if they are working with a desktop PC. Think A

A headset and microphone. This is the cheapest, most effective method of enhancing the zoom/teams experience.

An led ring light system. Also quite cheap and effective.

A quiet, comfortable workspace not shared with other household members.

Not a bedroom or sofa.

Support your Employees

This may sound like a lot, but if you supply your employees with this level of support and connectivity, you will increase their levels of productivity, well-being, and loyalty by an amount well in excess of the cost.
