Movin' and Groovin' was a high energy event designed for Pickfords, the UK's largest overseas removal company. It was creative and jolly good fun!
Impact Factory were excited to be invited to facilitate a one-day event for the removals company, Pickfords - which we entitled "Movin' and Groovin'".
The day was designed for 100 managers with a view to promoting the idea that absolutely everyone in Pickfords is part of the sales team.
Our aim was to look at how they all, directly or indirectly, have an engagement and connection with the clients.
And, of course, in order to do that, we wanted to personally engage and connect with everyone at the conference.
As always at Impact Factory we had an overriding mission to encourage creative ideas, to build confidence, and to have some fun along the way!
There's no question, the better the communication and relationship building skills are between people inside and outside the company, the better the chances of giving excellent customer service and boosting the sales.
We worked with high energy in an interactive way with lots of "getting up and doing" for everyone. We also used two of our facilitators to role-play some scenarios in a Forum Theatre style.
This was highly effective and led to some surprising revelations as well as a lot of laughter!
The surprises continued as we interviewed some of the high achievers amongst the delegates who had some impressive success stories to tell.
We were particularly taken with the novel and highly imaginative use of garden gnomes as a marketing device!
We left feeling inspired and were very impressed that one of the Impact factory directors, Jo Ellen, was contacted swiftly and efficiently the next day as her enquiry about moving from New York to Greece was promptly attended to by Pickfords.
