Communicating More Assertively
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants.
They offer business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people of application, ability and ambition around the world who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance and management.
ACCA support 131,500 members and 362,000 students throughout their careers, providing services through a network of 82 offices and centres. Impact Factory's Tina Lamb has been working with ACCA for a number of years, developing communication within the organisation, particularly around delivering difficult messages and becoming more assertive.
Within any organisation there will always be a range of disparate personality types; inevitably some people will find certain types easy to communicate with and others can seem more difficult.
Impact Factory design their courses to help delegates find ways to improve their choices in a variety of tricky situations.
Our training is not about personality transplants but rather is a much subtler look at ways to set clearer boundaries and thus enable participants to become much better communicators.
One of the most important factors in the success of our programmes is the delegates' openness and willingness to try different tools and techniques.
This has kept the Programme evolving and is much appreciated by the trainers.
Whether working with individuals from the UK or other parts of Europe, the commitment has always been the same.
Impact Factory has many large global clients so the company is used to managing cultural differences in the ways that people communicate.
We hope very much to continue to develop our work with ACCA.
By continuing our relationship, we will gain a much better understanding of any issues they bring to us and therefore provide even more effective in-house training.
