These five intensive days are an opportunity to benefit both you and your business by developing you into a definitive speaker, playing a pivotal role in the success of the organisation or business concept.

You will learn the dynamics of slide design, structure and presentation and how to do something original that makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Below is an outline of what we’ll cover each day, this gives us room to evolve and develop the content to suit the needs of each delegate. At Impact Factory we never predefine exactly how our courses will go, as we tailor every single programme to the needs of the delegates who attend on the day.

Day One – How do you work as a presenter?

We'll discuss what makes presenters fly or flop, explore what actually happens to an individual when in presentation mode, and why and how it can be influenced to best serve the one in the spotlight.

You'll find out how to back up your best qualities with solid evidence and anecdotes to influence others within pitching or presenting and we'll get you presenting for the first of many times over the course of the programme.

At the end of the first day we'll head out to a funky London restaurant for some food and chit-chat.

Day Two – Telling a good story

We all connect to a good story like we remember a good movie so we'll look at what it is that makes us connect on such a deep level to stories and how can we recreate that effect within presentations. This involves how to consciously structure the presentation to have the desired impact on the audience and land the core messages. We'll also look at the use of successful story structures in film, finding your unique voice and telling your own story using business content.

On the second evening we'll attend some live theatre in London to look at how they use storytelling and structure and what effects it has on the audience.

Day Three – Creating brilliance and surprise

This day is dedicated to breaking patterns and exploring the human connection to imagery, creativity and design in presentations. We will spend the first part of the day challenging concepts and trying new ideas out before looking at different, creative ways to help things land with an audience.

The gallery space will be utilised to look at the various impacts of different pieces and we'll explore how this can apply to real challenges of presenting within a business context. We'll cover ways of using PowerPoint, Key Note and other links to multimedia too.

Day Four - Facilitating and Motivating the Audience

On day 4 we'll explore room dynamics including difficult behaviour and difficult questions. We will also look at ways of keeping the presentation flexible and spontaneous by responding to the needs of the room.

There will be time spent looking at motivating your audience and keeping the content relevant, plus understanding how to gain buy-in and commitment.

The eveing will be spent with some stand up comedy, looking at spontaneity and how the audience can help you drive your presentation.

Day Five – Your Presentation of a lifetime

On our final day we will meet at Speaker's Corner where the most influential speaker's speak about their passions and causes. Some fresh air will give you the chance to consolidate learnings, practise and prepare for the afternoon's presentations, which will take place in front of an audience at a different location. This audience will be made up of business people and experts who will feed back on the impact of the presentations.

Final Presentation with Impact Hand-outs and Plans for going forward

As part of the wrap up we will re-visit each delegate's Personal Presentation Arsenal - What do you now know works for you?

The delegates will finalise a Plan of Action to take the work of the course back into their workplace.

All delegates will be issued with relevant hand-outs to remind them of the Presentation with Impact Course work, including our memorable visual cue cards. Delegates will also be able to take away Impact Factory web cards, which will give them access to our extensive e-library of useful documents.
