Joe Britto – Presentation Leadership and Personal ImpactPresentation, Leadership and Personal ImpactIf there's a career Joe Britto hasn't followed, don't tell him - he just might embark on it!It all began fighting forest fires in British Columbia, Canada which leads (quite naturally) to taking up a career as a recording engineer/producer while moonlighting as a part time rock superstar, (OK, so he only had a couple of songs on the radio). Having worked with some of Canada's top music industry names and managed several studios, Joe moved on to writing, researching and producing a current affairs radio talk show. A brief stint as a Provincial Enforcement Officer, and Joe took to writing novels. 2000 saw the publication of his first novel, Worth, a Story about love and Self-esteem, and it was in the writing of that book that Joe's interest in just what makes us do the things we do began to blossom. When the PR company he owned and operated took on a contract with a life coaching company things started falling into place. Helping native Canadians to see the potential they were allowing to fall through their fingers focused Joe's desire to work as a life coach. A BA, an MA, a couple of terms as a teacher and a hop across the Atlantic later, and Joe trained as a Cognitive Behavioural/Positive Psychology Life Coach. He set up an independent practice and still coaches disadvantaged groups as well as entrepreneurs and personal clients looking to develop a grounded personal effectiveness. So what does having such a diverse background do to a person? Ask Joe and he'd say it's given him the ability to cultivate a beginner's mind, to recognise that the way we choose to do things is just that: a choice. And since we can always make a new choice, it means at every point in life there's a myriad of possibilities... With an outlook like that, where else would a person end up if not Impact Factory, where professional personal development means Joe brings his expertise as a coach as well as the broad business understanding his sojourns across many industries and sectors have given him. With a keen sense of humour and a passion for not making decisions by default, Joe offers his understanding of how business (and the people in it) work in a range of courses including Presentation Skills, Leadership Training and, Personal Impact.
