Anthony Etherton – Corporate Events and Forum Theatre ProducerCorporate Events and Forum Theatre ProducerAnthony joined Impact Factory as an associate in 2003 bringing a wealth of experience from a broad spectrum of professional experience including the service sector, sales management, journalism and finally 10 years as an actor.He now runs our Corporate Events programmes and is our Forum Theatre expert His varied professional background is a common factor linking most Impact Factory trainers. His original training was in the catering industry in which he worked as a catering manager in the industrial sector. Moving into sales, he eventually worked with a major magazine publisher as an advertising key account manager. Yearning for something a little more creative he took a year out and re trained in journalism and worked as a business news and features writer for a leading business publication. Five years on he took a decision that changed his direction for good and so, three years later, clutching a drama degree, he found an agent and joined the dole queue as an actor. After a few months of getting too familiar with the daytime TV schedules, he fell back on his business background set up his own business supplying role players to companies wanting to train and assess their employees in as close to real life situations as possible. "I love my job. I like the buzz I get from seeing people enjoy and learn from what we do". His goals for the next two years include getting down to a single figure golf handicap, expanding the Forum Theatre and Corporate Events brief for Impact Factory and getting three global companies on board with us, so he can earn enough to buy his own golf course…somewhere warm… with a beach close by… and a nice clubhouse…with secure parking and several gun turrets to ward off high handicappers. Anthony has been a big part of our Presentation Skills, Leadership Skills and Customer Service training programmes and has worked with Merrill Lynch, Fidelity Investments and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.
