Barney CrowBarney arrived early November in 2005 to fill the role of Open Course Co-ordinator, with a set focus and ambition - to shape the position with his previous knowledge. Sidetracked by a 'small' office move but not deterred he settled in instantly. Coming from three long-term positions - a financial consultants in the city, Barclays and a web based company assisting with web design and office management, Barney brought a lot of knowledge to the company on every level. Experienced in Databases, Web Design and client relations, this position was ideal and along with being a people person it was positive all round. Barney has now moved into the area of Web Content and Marketing. He spends his time editing our e-newsletter, optimising our website and masterminding our innovative marketing campaigns - the last one featured an Impact Factory Robot with a chocolate heart which was a resounding success all around! Barney's passion is comedy writing, and despite loving his 9-5 job wouldn't hesitate in giving it all up for a career in writing. Fortunately for Impact Factory he has more talents to develop before that can happen, but seriously, a long term ambition would be to write a short film or sitcom, maybe for the BBC, lets start small.
