Marketing and Web Content Executive

Company Background

Impact Factory, a professional personal development company, was formed in 1991 by Robin Chandler and Jo Ellen Grzyb. We create and deliver tailor-made development programmes for companies (primarily blue chip multinationals) and provide a range of open courses. We also offer one-to-one Executive Coaching, Presentation and Media Skills sessions.

As well as the two Founding Partners (Directors), there is an Associate Director, three Senior Partners, four Associate Partners, five Associates, two Associates in Training and a number of people who are support personnel and are training to move up the ladder.

There are five full time positions which make up the ‘Home Team’. These are the Company Manager, Programme Manager (tailored courses), Open Course Co-ordinator, Marketing/Web Content Executive and Finance Manager. Our partners and support trainers provide client development and marketing support.

Impact Factory is a demanding and unpredictable environment to work in. No one day looks like another. Our primary focus is on the development and delivery of tailor-made programmes that are exceptional, to clients who have come to expect a first class product and service.

In the last two years our open courses (public) have become increasingly popular and now significantly contribute to our overall revenue. Impact Factory’s excellent website and high ranking on Google greatly contributes to our success with the open courses as well as generating in-house leads.

From a strategic point of view this means that everyone in the company is continually looking to upgrade and advance the work – on all levels.

New ideas are desired and encouraged, our work is challenging and risky and the company can be a very creative place to be.

We have high expectations of anyone who works with Impact Factory: what happens within Impact Factory has to be as professional, efficient and creative as the service that we give to our clients.

Impact Factory is a small company so there isn’t a designated Marketing team. You will be solely responsible for the website optimisation/content and marketing. We have an external website designer who looks after the structural work on the site, but many areas we self publish and those will be yours to oversee.

Our director Robin Chandler will supervise you on the optimisation work. The company manager will be your line manager. You will work as part of the tight knit ‘home team’ and with the partners and associates to generate ideas and organise marketing campaigns both online and direct.
