This Experience isn't for the faint-hearted. It's an intensive programme for people who are already leaders:

CEOs, Directors, Board Members, Entrepreneurs, those in a leadership capacity who want to take a giant leap not just in the way they lead others, but more importantly, in the way they lead and understand themselves.

What you lead matters very little. What matters is who you are when you lead.

We will stretch you like you've never been stretched before. You'll be provoked, challenged, tested and pushed in order to gain a greater insight into how you lead, why you lead and what kind of leader you truly are.

We will cut through the leader you try to be, think you are, want to be. And bring you face to face with the leader you are. Others will be going through the experience with you, but your experience will be uniquely your own.

This is not a leadership development course (We have an excellent two day programme if you're interested in Leadership Skills); you won't be getting any models, theories, acronyms, graphs or how tos. You will, however, be looking at your beliefs, principles and what propels you as a leader.

The challenge every day will be about who you are in relation to yourself and your roles as a Leader.

You will experience the highest level of expertise with our Leaders with Impact Team who alongside being 'up' on current views on leadership, continually develop themselves as Leaders.

Leadership Day 1 - Leading Yourself

Personal Leadership Objectives


* To raise delegate's personal awareness of who they are
* To look at individual leadership strengths
* To have a practical understanding of how delegates function as leaders
* Transactional vs transformational leadership

The first day of the leadership experience is all about understanding your authentic self and the "you" you present to the world; where they sit together well, and where they don't. During this day, we'll challenge you to live your authentic self… you can always go back, but today is about having the courage to be fully who you know yourself to be.

Leadership Day 2 - Leading As a Coach

Leadership Coaching Objectives


* To give delegates an understanding of a leader-coach approach
* To provide an understanding of the need for coaching skills in leadership roles
* To provide a grounding in leadership coaching skills
* To understand the potential of leadership coaching

The second day of the leadership experience is all about giving delegates coaching tools to connect with the authentic selves of those they choose to lead.

When two authentic selves speak to each other, the result can be powerful.

Leadership Day 3 - Leading Through Change

Change Leadership Objectives


* To explore the challenges for change and how to overcome them
* To provide practical tools and techniques to use at different stages of the change process

The third day of the leadership experience takes delegates through the process of identifying and leading changes to a current project.

Leadership Day 4 - Leading Through Inspiration

Inspirational Leadership Objectives


* To raise delegate's awareness of how inspiration works
* To offer tools for inspired communication
* To give delegates an experience of speaking with passion for a directive they find uninspiring

The fourth day of the leadership experience looks at the nature of inspiration and how delegates can inspire when they might not be 100% behind the message or concept they're called to lead upon.

Leadership Day 5 - Leading with Courage

Courageous Leadership Objectives


* To bring together the learning of the week in a visceral process
* To have a practical experience of how delegates lead following the first four days

In an interactive experience, the fifth day of the leadership experience offers delegates a chance to stretch and challenge themselves as leaders using the tools and insights of the past four days.

The Five Day Leadership Experience

Initial 1-1 for Each Delegate to Establish their Requirements

We hold telephone meetings with all delegates to develop an understanding of where they are and what they'd like to gain from the leadership programme that lies ahead. These requirements will be collated into two streams: commonalities to feed into group sessions; and areas for individual leadership development.

As part of the five day workshop we also offer the following options:

Leadership Forums

Who was it that said, "It's lonely at the top"?

We agree. That's why we established Leadership Forums. Having shared a common experience, developed a common leadership language, and gained a common understanding of leadership issues; we feel the best way to maintain those gains is through peer support and peer leadership coaching.

Leadership forums help take training out of the training room and allow delegates to learn and develop leadership skills from each other.

Some of the benefits of Leadership Forums are:

Leadership and communication skills are honed under the supervision of trained facilitators thereby embedding gains from the experience
Leadership forums encourage and normalise a peer coaching culture
Forums build ownership of the leadership and communication gains achieved
Develops increased confidence as peer communication, feedback and support are normalised

Access to Leadership Forums is open to all alumni of The Leadership Experience.

The cost of each forum is £395 per delegate.

On-Going 1-1 Executive Leadership Coaching

We offer 1-1 executive leadership coaching for leaders to address individual development issues identified in the initial phone call or that have arisen as a result of The Leadership Experience. The cost of this option is £495 per hour.
