More than just trainersThe past caught up with one of our trainers recently when, out of the blue, he was offered a music publishing deal on a song he’d written back in the early 90’s.Anthony Etherton started writing and recording back in the mid 70’s when he had hair and an ambition to play drums for Bryan Adams. 30 years on, bald and reduced to the odd jazz gig, a former musical colleague called to say he’d re-formed his 80’s band, Voyager and would like to include one of Anthony’s songs on the new album. The song’s called Housework and he’s hoping it’ll get picked up for a TV DIY show theme tune or commercial or… frankly anything that’ll make him rich beyond his wildest dreams! www.voyager.co.uk Anthony’s also been recently taken on by a literary agent and is currently writing his first book. It’s a biography about the son of a famous comedian. The story is set to set to blow the lid off life with a comedy god at the helm. Further details are embargoed until later in the year. As well as establishing the highly effective Forum Theatre Workshop, Anthony has been a significant contributor to our Presentation Skills and Customer Service Skills training programmes. His work has been for clients such as Merrill Lynch, Fidelity Investments and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare As well as being one of our regular trainers on our Open Course programmes.
