I have worked with numerous clients on their presentations and public speeches over the last 10 years.

My approach is always is about encouraging each person to learn to at least accept, if not love, who they are. (I mean that most sincerely, folks).

It can really be an awkward task for clients to acknowledge all the many qualities that an audience is going to admire and even possibly enjoy about them – but that's one thing you get to do here at Impact Factory, and one that I personally relish. It's not simply that I like making people blush, or that I need to generate a personal "love-in" – rather its about encouraging people to let themselves off the hook – express themselves authentically and not in the way they think they should!

I do like to bring out the passion in people!! Yes, I admit it!!

Specific Presentation & Public Speaking coaching Experience and Background

Over 30 years I have been an acting and improvisation coach, as well as a theatre director. For 9 years I worked with Globe Education at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, leading workshops for all ages and giving public talks.

During this time I devised an interactive public talk/performance about "Playing in Daylight" which I took on a US tour of schools and colleges, and have subsequently presented in Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

In the last 10 years I have been a facilitator and coach for numerous clients at Impact Factory. I was instrumental in developing the Train the Trainer Open Course, and also run Leadership Development, Facilitation and Coaching and Mentoring programmes. I have delivered Presentation, Public Speaking, and Advanced presentation skills coaching for clients including Merrill Lynch, Westminster City Council, Tellabs and Pfizer.

Many individuals, from both Private and Public sectors, have received Presentation and Personal Impact coaching from me, including vital help with upcoming big presentations and meetings. One of my executive coaching clients achieved Sales Director in 8 months – with a little help from my colleagues on Open Courses too. Another is now the Chief Executive of a Local Authority.
