General Coaching Experience and Background

For years, although I'd been immersed in L&D for some time, I'd never thought of myself as a coach.

Standing in front of 6 to 600 people and delivering interactive communication skills workshops was and is my gig.

After a few 121 clients over the past year or so, I've discovered something fantastic about helping one person, to re focus, re-energise and move forward in their life... there's a real buzz from 'helping some(one) learn to fish'.

My Approach as an Executive Coach

So here I am, free of coaching theories, coaching models, diagrams, executive 'habits' or 'hats'; just me and my experience of life. I've been a chef, restaurant manager, sales rep, key account manager, sales manager, news reporter, feature writer, commissioning editor, actor, director, property developer, corporate events organiser, learning and development professional, entrepreneur, continuity announcer for Channel 4, voice-over artist, musician, and father to three autistic children.

Coaching Qualifications

I have no interest in gaining more qualifications in 'professional coaching'. So if 'letters' are your thing... I probably won't be your thing.

However, I've seen the light and the dark and a lot of places in between.
