General Coaching Experience and Background

Born into a military family, my earliest career idea was to become a pilot! I soon realised that perhaps I was better suited to a more creative field and decided to become an actress, all before the age of six! What actually happened was that I travelled to the West Indies at the age of 18, with entrepreneurial ideas and invested in my own business, an Italian restaurant which I ran for 6 years. Following the natural course of things I returned to London and studied for three years at Drama School to become an actress.

I worked successfully as an actress for several years before developing my facilitation skills and moving into Theatre in Education. During this time I specialised in workshops for children with 'special needs', laying the ground work for my corporate work to come. Five years ago I joined the Impact Factory and have not looked back.

Since we created a series of Open Courses in 2004 I have been managing them as well as leading quite a few. What began as an experiment with one or two offerings has developed into a comprehensive programme of the best of Impact Factory. In 2006, I became an Impact Factory Senior Partner recognising the energy, commitment I have brought to the range of Impact Factory's activities.

Specific Coaching Experience

I have been coaching and developing children and adults in various guises for the last 10 years. As my work here at Impact factory has expanded I have become an integral part of the coaching and mentoring team. As I have specialised in Assertiveness, Personal Impact, Presentation and Personal Impact, I have been able to draw upon these areas of expertise in my one to one work.

My Approach as an Executive Coach

I have a passion for, and an in depth understanding of, people in general and enjoy exploring what makes them tick. My Coaching style is consultative and supportive, but I have the strength and composure to deal with the most challenging of executives. My years of experience, in a variety of fields, mean I am able to pass on my knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm.
