Sara Jordan – Communication Skills and Business Networking
Communication Skills and Business Networking
Sara started her career in acting after graduating from university with a BA Hons degree in Creative Arts. This led to success in films, TV (yes, The Bill!) the theatre and also appearing in lots of adverts. When people think they know her it's usually because she was the Head and Shoulders girl for sometime, but she'd just like it known that she doesn't have dandruff!
For three years Sara ran her own drama school for younger children and has an association with the National Youth Theatre, running specialist drama workshops.
After having a family, her priorities changed and she decided to switch from acting to writing and directing, including several short films, one of which was bought by BA and TWA as part of their in-flight entertainment. She also had a successful run at the Kings Head Theatre in London of her first play and is currently working on a sequel.
Her work with Impact Factory is the perfect partner to her other interests as it allows her to use the skills she acquired as an actress with her deep fascination for people.
Although involved in the full range of Impact Factory courses, the programmes for which she has a natural flair are Business Networking, Communication Skills, Body Language, Presentation Skills and Personal Impact.
As well as working on our Open Courses, Sara has worked with The Ministry of Defense, Merrill Lynch, Johnson Controls, Brit Insurance, CRBT, Communities and Local Government and BT to name a few.
To these courses Sara brings energy and insight. Her instinctive engagement with people and ability to dissolve barriers creates a great environment for people to be able to share their issues. She listens and thinks carefully about what it is that people need from each course and constantly adjusts what she is offering with that in mind.
Everything she does is also done with a wonderful warmth and sense of fun; learning to her is so much harder if it is dry and dull.
When she is not working she will either be having a lovely time with her family, painting, gardening or snuggled up with a good book.
