Its not just baldy singing the blues….It’s Julie’s turn this weekend as her band “The Tones” play their second gig in a month. The world’s music press apparently poised at the prospect of their threatened UK tour. Last year venues in Whitstable, North and South London saw the band as The Tankertones, Stoke Newingtones, Kenningtones, Mistletones and Titfertones (it was a fancy dress hat party!) This year who knows what & where they will play after their glamorous opener at a pub in Nunhead. “Lock up your daughters!” indeed as the mid-life challenged combo roll into your neighbourhood..or in Julie’s daughters’ case…”Lock up our mother someone….please!” .
