    Why Trainers Need Training

Standing up in front of a group of people, for whatever reason, can feel a daunting prospect. Standing up and delivering training creates an added responsibility to make it feel truly daunting.

Impact Factory is terrific at training other people to become fabulous facilitators, and we have now created a 6 session programme for people who are already good at training and have experience under their belts.  We are limiting numbers so that each individual will have the opportunity to look at their specific training issues.

Not surprisingly, training professionals spend a substantial proportion of their time training others. When they themselves receive training, it is usually aimed at familiarising them with the specifics of a new or revised module or programme. But what about trainers' ability, confidence and motivation to deliver those programmes effectively? What do they get to help them kindle their creative spark? And how can they best deal with a variety of training situations.

In our intense '6 session experience', Impact Factory takes a look at the issues and dynamics that rule the training room and the unseen forces that shape the experience of each participant. We aren't chalk and talk type training and therefore, neither is our train the trainer work. Impact Factory work is designed to develop or refresh the professional trainer's ability to run exciting and effective training programmes. We normally run this programme one day a week for six weeks, as we know that the development of participants is greater over such a timescale.

It doesn't matter what kind of training you have to deliver - interpersonal skills, sales, IT, technical skills, shop floor skills - this programme is all about how to get better at delivering brilliant training.
