Corporate 'Westenders'
How do you keep delegates awake, engaged, and motivated at your annual away-day conference? Not only that, how do you make your event relevant and fun at the same time?
Answer: Treat them to their very own personalised episode of ‘Westenders’, a simple tale of every-day corporate folk going about their corporate lives...and falling into the usual everyday pitfalls we all know about!
Cue the drum roll Do do, do do do do do do do do!!!
The session begins with a half hour 'episode' of several short scenes, each depicting problems and issues surrounding the thorny topic of communication as it happens in your organisation. We have a factory-full of facilitators, actors, scenarios and mini-dramas (as well as 16 years experience working in the corporate world) to illustrate just what can go wrong.
We have a templated structure to the day, but will tailor the episode to include issues relevant to your company.
This episode can run the whole gamut from drama in the boardroom to pique in the post room. The common theme is that all our 'episodes' bring humour, awareness and pertinence in equal measure.
The bulk of the day will then be spent in break-outs with delegates working with facilitators and actors to unpick the dynamics of communications. They’ll look at how awareness of the subconscious elements of communications can help pre-empt problems and smooth the way to effectiveness.
The final part of the day will see the episode re-run after input from the delegates.
There is a pre dinner entertainment which can be added to the day and we call it ‘The Biggest Beat Box in the World’. Any number of delegates can engage in the controlled mayhem and merriment facilitated by drummers and percussionists who will facilitate up to a 90 minute team-building event.
Guaranteed to pump the blood and crank up the energy, The 'BBBW' engages everyone at their own level allowing those that wish, to let rip and those that don’t to play it cool and make like cocktail band drummers.
